Insider Tips

Things seasoned cruisers wish they knew

Wi-Fi

Lower suite categories (Veranda/Deluxe) receive only one login per suite. Streaming quality depends on satellite conditions and may not support 4K or HD video reliably.

All Drinks

A small number of ultra-rare or vintage wines on the connoisseur list carry a surcharge. These are clearly marked on the wine menu.

Flights

Business/first class air is often promotional and not guaranteed on all sailings. Due to airline policy changes, included airfare may not cover luggage fees, seat assignments, or lounge access — check with your airline directly.

All Excursions

Premium 'Regent Choice' and 'Go Local' excursions are included, but some ultra-premium Regent Collection tours carry a surcharge. Popular excursions fill up fast — book early via the Regent app.

Gratuities

Spa and salon services carry an additional 18% service charge that is not covered by the included gratuities.

Airport Transfers

Transfers are only provided on the designated embarkation/disembarkation days. If you arrive early or stay late, you must arrange your own transportation.

Booking

Spa treatments, salon services, casino, and laundry/dry cleaning are NOT included despite 'all-inclusive' branding. Spa has an 18% auto-gratuity on top.

Cancellation

For 2025+ bookings, cancellation more than 151 days out incurs a $100/person admin fee. Penalties escalate to 100% of fare within 60 days of sailing.

General

Valet laundry (wash, press, fold) is included for all suite categories. Dry cleaning is only complimentary for Regent Suite guests — all others pay per item.

Booking

If you opt out of Regent's included airfare, you receive a non-use air credit that varies by voyage. The credit may be less than the cost of booking your own flights.
