Cruise passengers arrive by tender or ferry at Marina Grande and can take a funicular up to the main Capri town. The island's Villa Jovis, a sprawling Roman imperial palace built by Emperor Tiberius, sits on the eastern cliffs of the island and offers sweeping views over the sea.
